Welcome to the Big Blue Building

It was our pleasure to renovate a piece of Southbridge history and turn it into modern luxury apartments.

Half of this building used to be located on the corner of Main and Elm Street in Southbridge where Cornerstone Bank is currently located. That part of the building was built in 1814 and was known as the Columbia building. In 1893, the building was picked up and relocated to its current location on the corner of Foster Street and Wardwell Court.

By the end of 1894, the three-bedroom side of the building was added along with the common area hallways and a finish coat of stucco was applied; turning it from a storefront with apartments above it into a nine-family apartment building Now, 130 years later, the Big Blue Building is ready for its next chapter. All apartments now feature built-in microwaves and dishwashers, refrigerators with both water and ice dispensing capabilities, quartz countertops, and tile bathrooms.
